The explosive climate change has a significant impact on the Italian territory. Extreme weather events are now on the rise and represent a real emergency for our territories and for the safety of citizens which involves various sectors of the economy, especially agriculture.
P4Future, strongly believing in the importance of supporting sustainable activities that aim to generate well-being for the territory, the environment and for the entire social fabric, decided to take an active part in one of the forestry projects with high social impact, implemented by zeroCO2 on the italian territory.
zeroCO2 is a B Corp Benefit Company that promotes plans focused on sustainable agronomic and agroforestry practices with high social and environmental value in collaboration with agricultural and social cooperatives distributed across the national territory.
P4Future’s employees will be involved in the planting and subsequent donation of trees to a local cooperative, thus supporting a reality engaged in the socio-therapeutic and rehabilitation, hospitality, educational/didactic and job placement fields to give them the ability to self-finance through direct sales or processing of fruits.
Furthermore, the donated trees will have a high environmental impact as they will support the correct maintenance of the land, increasing its resistance to extreme events such as drought and storms
