What is a Benefit Corporation?

Benefit Corporations integrate within their corporate purpose, in addition to profit objectives, also one or more purposes of common benefit, in order to have a positive impact on society and the biosphere.

By common benefit we mean the promulgation of actions and projects that can have positive effects on the community, on people, on the territory and the environment, cultural and social assets and activities, bodies and associations and other stakeholders.

The Benefit Corporations act responsibly and sustainably, undertaking to report their activities in a transparent and complete manner through an annual impact report that describes both the actions carried out and plans and commitments for the future.
